Comfort, privacy and location. In addition, we became very fond of Lisa who took care of all the cleaning duties, breakfasts and generally looked after us well. We are regular travellers to Bali and will definitely be booking this Villa again.

The villa was new and attractive. The pool was clean and relaxing. The service staff were helpful and worked hard (Lia was just lovely) The beds were very comfortable.

It was a little difficult to get to by car, the road leading in and crossing the bridge was a bit tricky. Breakfast was a bit boring being only fruit and toast so we ate out on most days choosing to eat the fruit during the day. Being asked to pay the second installments in cash was a bit unreasonable but we were eventually able to pay by card. We didn't budget to pay it by cash.

The location was perfect; quiet and serene although right in the middle of Seminyak (gang located just opposite Coco Supermarket). The pool was great, nice and cool unlike so many pools in Bali, with great space for relaxing and sun baking too. The living area was kept quite cool from the breezes that naturally flow through, and it had all the facilities we needed. Overall the villa was very clean and was kept that way by the very good staff. The overall space for 2 couples could be a little small if you liked to stay in the villa a lot, but for just the 2 of us it was great and very private. We also loved that it felt like a home - we were very comfortable! We have been to Bali 5 times now, and stayed at many different villas, both as part of larger complexes, and privately owned - this was one of our favourites, we will definitely stay again, it was lovely!

The housekeeping staff, although lovely, spend too long each day in the villa, often leaving at 1pm or 2pm, after arriving at 8.30am for breakfast. Also, the mosquitos in the bathroom were very hard to control (we would have to constantly have a coil burning), and it would be much better if they were closed-in and air conditioned. Also the pool lights stayed on too late into the night, and often kept us awake even with our bedroom curtains closed. It would be better if there was a switch to access the power to these lights. All small things - overall we loved it!
